CDD Services. Competency Assurance:
Subsea International Ltd is a UK Agent for the Manchester, England headquartered CDD Services Ltd (https://cdd.services/). CDD have developed an App called ‘Spotlite’ (https://cddsoftware.services/) for electronically ‘on-boarding’ customers in the Banking, Insurance, Legal and Accountancy sectors to increase compliance while improving due-diligence. Subsea International Ltd is working with CDD to transfer the functionality of the App into the offshore energy industry to increase security, safety and HSE compliance when organisations recruit and send individuals offshore to operate asset integrity management solutions. Meeting all current legal standards (including those in GDPR https://eugdpr.org/) Spotlite issues the end user with certification including, if necessary, flagged areas of concern that require further investigation prior to approval for work.
The App is being developed to confirm individuals are who they say they are, confirms they have the certification they claim to have, and that the certifications are up to date. The workflow of the App allows for online training to be affected with certifications being automatically uploaded. The secure data is transferable between phones allowing data to be sent to departure points such as helicopter pads, docks or quaysides where the facial image provided can be matched to the individual reporting for work.
The App can also be of use when monitoring for and managing modern slavery issues at home or abroad (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/transparency-in-supply-chains-a-practical-guide).
Fuel Performance Solutions. Diesel Fuel Additive – DiesoLIFT
Subsea International Ltd is a UK Agent for the Yorkshire based Fuel Performance Solutions (https://www.fuelperformancesolutionsltd.co.uk/). FPS has developed an extensively field tested, https://www.fuelperformancesolutionsltd.co.uk/testimonials) FOBUS certified, biodegradable fuel additive for use in diesel engines and diesel storage tanks called DiesoLIFT. Aimed at organisations using very large volumes of diesel fuel, DiesoLIFT (https://www.fuelperformancesolutionsltd.co.uk/ourproducts) works with all types of diesel (including Bio-diesel) and with low sulphur fuels.
At a dilution rate of 1litre additive to 500 litres of fuel, DiesoLIFT increases the efficiency of diesel engines and storage tanks while reducing emissions. Subsea International Ltd is working with FPS to transfer the additive into the offshore marine sector helping vessel operators who support owner operators with asset integrity management solutions on offshore installations to save money. Depending on the age of the vessel (or engines on rigs or platforms) fuel cost savings could be in the region of 5%-10% per annum.
